The real history of Aphrodite. This fifth chapter continues on right after Aphrodite and Poseidon step through a portal to Jotunheim. Aphrodite and Poseidon find themselves in the frigid cold high mountains. It is snowing hard and they cannot see very far in front of them. They are in blizzard-like conditions. Poseidon shivers 'Are you sure you want to continue on with this? I don't know where this portal has taken us.' Aphrodite says 'We must continue on. We must find out more and avoid war between Alfheim and Jotunheim. If there is any way we can help then we must dear brother. We can bear this frigid cold.' She remembers some of the magic teachings she learned at the library of Thoth. She speaks an incantation to form a small ball of fire. This provides some light and a little bit of warmth. When she comes out the other side of the portal she enters a strange desert land. This is not the borderlands. There are trees in the distance and she sees and oasis. She makes her way there. Aphrodite comes to a beautiful lagoon and takes a drink. As she drinks the water she notices a reflection behind her. It is a being similar to the satyr. She is frightened by this. She quickly stands up and looks around. The being is gone and she can hear rustling in the trees and overgrowth around the small lagoon. It sounds like something is moving. Aphrodite pulls out her dagger and says 'Who's there?' She holds her dagger up 'Do not come any closer! I do not wish to harm you. Just stay away!' The real history of Aphrodite. The third chapter begins shortly after the death of Pathagoras. Part Seven... Aphrodite is at a grand funeral for Pathagoras. All the great pantheons and houses have gathered. It is a deeply sad occasion. The body is Pathagoras is upon the altar. Hades and Zeus stand in front of it. Tears roll down Aphrodite's face as she listens to the haunting sad melodies of the choir. She notices that all are sad and crying except for one. She glares at the Elven King Yserah. He is standing there straight faced with no expression at all. This slightly angers her while at the same time fills her with curiosity. The choir finishes singing and the attention is back toward the altar. Hades casts a spell and a black glass forms around the body of Pathagoras.
