Dwarves: Fogbeard and the Heart of the Deep Mountain

We are in Alfheim doing a bond with some Tribal Elves and Dwarves.

Tulk: Ark and the dwarf are there getting info on them and handing out daggers.

Me: Yes you are right. We are about to start. Fogbeard is still passing out the daggers. As soon as he finishes we will do the bond.

One of the Dwarves just tripped and dropped one of the chests of daggers. They fell on the ground. They are picking them up.

Fogbeard: "Don't use those! Bring them over here. Get a new chest!"

Starting the bond now...

*Ark does the bond on some Tribal Elves and Phoenixes with Asherah Aphrodite.*

Tulk: I love the energy that comes from the bond. It’s beautiful. Like the Auroral lights in Antarctica but more vibrant.

Fogbeard to Ark: "Sorry my Lord for the time wasted. He is quite the embarrassment for himself."

He is talking about when the Dwarf who dropped the chest. Fogbeard speaks in a Gaelic accent. He has had past Midgard incarnations in Scotland and Ireland.

Me: Asherah Aphrodite keeps looking at Fogbeard and the other Dwaves. She notices that the Dwarves who work for him have purple-ish skin.

Ark: Dwarves come in all different skin colors depending on where they are from.

His type of Dwarves only really live in deep deep mountains. They do not usually see light. They can all see in the dark.

Me: Asherah is curious about Fogbeard and why his skin looks like stone.

Ark: It is because Dwarves have several tribes each with Kings and Queens.

These are what are called Deep Mountain Dwarves. They live way deep within the mountains. They are not High Mountain Dwarves.

Then you have Earth Dwarves, Forest Dwarves, you even have some that dwell in the sea and others in volcanoes.

Then you have the Plains Dwarves. They live very ceremonial Native American almost in their dress.

These different Dwarves all have different kingdoms that represent elements. You have River Dwarves for example.

Every Dwarven kingdom has Heart of Something. Like the Heart of the Deep Mountain, or the Heart of the Great Plains Wind, or the Heart of the Endless River, the Heart of the High Mountain, the Heart of the Deep Forest.

Every so often Dwarves are chosen because either of great craftsmanship or they are great wise men or women. They could be a great warrior.

These Dwarves are selected to bond with the Heart of what their tribe is. When they do this they become empowered.

Dwarves work magic into everything they do. When they take the Heart of Something they change. Whatever their skill is becomes more power in that.

You wouldn't believe with how big the binding stone is and what it can do but Fogbeard carved that all by himself. No one else carved it with him. Only Fogbeard did.

Fogbeard made the first ritual dagger and then he made many more of them. He showed his Dwarves how to do it.

Fogbeard has merged with the Heart of the Deep Mountain. When Dwarves become like this they also gain other types of powers.

*Ark is creating a really intense heat and asks Fogbeard to stick his hand in it. Fogbeard has his hand inside it.*

Ark: Now ask one of those Elves or Phoenixes to bring one of their weapons here. Put it into the flame. You know how strong and sharp Elven metal blades are.

*Elven Tribal Leader Sefrenai puts a sword in the heat. It disintegrates. Fogbeard's hand is still inside the heat unharmed.*

Ark: Sometimes you find the biggest surprises in the smallest things. Gnomes are cousins to Dwarves. They also have the same principle of the Heart of Something.

Sefrenai: "This Dwarf would be perfect for battle."

Fogbeard: "No my Lady. Never been in a battle and never want to be in one. Those are not my ways. You seek Blackblade if you are looking for one like that."

Ark: Blackblade is pretty badass. If you can find him. He merged with the Heart of the High Mountain.

For a while Blackblade was General of all Dwarven armies. He fought against the Dark Elves in the Urthak War. Then Blackblade went away.

Fogbeard: "And no one has seen him since."

Ark: "I have seen Blackblade."

Fogbeard: "You have? You should tell him to come home."

Ark: "He just wants to be left alone."
