Book of Aphrodite Chapter Seven

The real history of Aphrodite. The seventh chapter continues after the discussion in the borderlands between Hacklind, Moonstone, and Vex.

Hacklind opens several rifts as the Jotunheim army crosses through the borderlands on their way to Alfheim.

Hacklind turns to the army and says 'Go forth. Destroy and devour those of Alfheim. Their souls will be mine.'

Overlooking them in the distance is the Ourhkina Gabriel. To his shock he realizes what is happening.

Gabriel says to himself 'I got to find my brothers. Alfheim will be utterly destroyed. I have to warn Zeus. Alfheim will need him and the pantheons to intervene.' He leaves to Mount Olympus.

It is almost early morning, Aphrodite arises to find Yahweh outside the cabin speaking with Father. He gives Aphrodite her things.

Father looks at her and smiles 'Ah, the young lady Asherah finally arises. At good timing too, you and Yahweh should be on your way.'

Aphrodite asks 'Why Father? Is anything wrong?'

A slight breeze picks up and Father looks toward the sky. There are storm clouds approaching.

Father says 'Seems to be a storm coming. You should get back and hurry.'

Aphrodite says 'Thank you Father. Can I come see you again any time?'

Father says 'Well yes of course, but if you come here and I am not around then you know I have gone fishing.'

Aphrodite hugs him and says 'I will be back soon Father.'

Father says 'My young Asherah, please be careful.'

Aphrodite says 'I will Father.'

She and Yahweh walk back down the path. They come across the gnomes again who are working. Then they go through the forest on their way back to the palace. There Aphrodite sees everyone going about their daily activities. It seems calm and peaceful.

As they walk along the path they start to hear the sounds of screaming. It sounds like it is coming from gnomes and other elves outside the palace gates.

A guard upon the wall says 'It is some of our guard with gnome workers. They are running here.' Then they hear a large rumble and the sounds of cracking trees.

The guard shouts in a panic 'It is Jotunheim! It is the army of Jotunheim with their machines! They are upon us! Sound the alarms!' Bells and horns start to sound everywhere.

Aphrodite notices a strange portal open up on the tower. Dark elves, trolls, and Jotunn pour through it attacking the tower guards.

Rifts start to open everywhere within the palace walls. The army of Jotunheim comes through attacking commoners, citizens, and guards alike.

The young divine start to join in the fight. Thor bravely grabs himself an elven spear and attacks the invaders taking several of them down with his strength. Artemis draws her bow and lets arrows fly. Freya joins in the fight as well.

Aphrodite sees her brother Poseidon fighting. A Jotunn has Poseidon on his back and goes in for the final blow. Aphrodite screams out 'Brother!'

Just then Yahweh reaches into his bag and grabs a handful of what appears to be sand. He lifts it up and blows it toward the Jotunn.

It forms into some kind of sand storm that picks up the Jotunn and pushes him back toward other invaders knocking them all back.

Aphrodite rushes up to Poseidon and grabs his hand. Poseidon says 'Sister, we must get you inside.' The three of them start to flee.

The battle rages all around them and there is slaughter everywhere. The palace has been overtaken. The Valar join in the fight, but there are not many of them and they seem to be overpowered.

As Aphrodite makes her way up the steps toward the grand hall of the palace she sees Raugunitar. He is standing his ground. Several Jotunn, dark elves, and trolls are dead around him.

Raugunitar notices Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Yahweh coming up the steps. He yells 'Young divine! You need to get into the grand hall so we can seal the doors! Come!'

They rush past him and go inside. Raugunitar presses the door closed but is unable to seal the doors. He is overwhelmed by three trolls, several dark elves, and a few Jotunn who rip the doors from the hinges.

Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Yahweh make their way to the back of the grand hall. Raugunitar yells 'There is a door off to the right. Go through it!' He stands and battles with the invaders cutting some of them down.

The three of them discover the door and go through. Poseidon starts to rush down the hall. Aphrodite stops and turns looking for Raugunitar. She sees him fight his way through the door. He then closes and latches it.

Raugunitar turns to her 'Quickly down the hall! Go!' They run down the hall as they hear the door buckle and break.

They enter into another room and Raugunitar closed the door behind them. Raugunitar asks Poseidon and Yahweh to help him move some of the heavier bookshelves in front to help brace the door.

Aphrodite stands and looks around. There seems to be no other way out of this room. Then she remembers 'I should cast a portal that will take us on the outside of here.'

Raugunitar says 'That is wise Asherah. Quickly, they will break through at any moment.'

Aphrodite starts to speak the incantation for the portal when she gets interrupted. Something else has opened up in the room. It is a rift.

Out of the rift comes a strange mutilated being. He looks down on her and says 'Ah I found you. It is time you come with me.' This is the Myrrdonite Cutter Hacklind.

He moves toward Aphrodite and she is struck with fear. Poseidon jumps in front of her 'Get away from my sister you grotesque fucker!'

Hacklind chuckles 'The living.' Poseidon thrusts the Myrrdonite through with a sword but he is unaffected by it.
The Myrrdonite Hacklind reaches with one hand and grabs Poseidon between the neck and shoulder blade, lifts him up, and throws him against a bookshelf which falls on him.

Hacklind says 'You will die another day. Only one I will kill today.'

Yahweh rushes toward the Hacklind but a long black tentacle comes from the Myrronite's hand. It strikes and almost hits Yahweh but he is able to dodge the attack.

Aphrodite crawls away as Yahweh yells 'Asherah! Get away from him!'

Hacklind wraps his tentacle around Yahweh's leg and drags him closer. Raugunitar reacts with his sword and cuts the tentacle off.

Raugunitar battles off against the Myrrdonite Hacklind. Dodging the coils and cutting the ones that come out. Raugunitar gets in and makes several attacks but with every stab and slash of his sword it has no effect.

Hacklind throws Raugunitar through the air and crashes him against the wall. The Myrrdonite then turns toward Aphrodite and says 'Enough is enough. Come with me little brat or I will drag you there.'

Coils form in Hacklind's hands. With fright and no where to run, Aphrodite feels her time has come to an end. The coils strike at her but are knocked out of the way by Raugunitar who gets hit in the arm. He shrieks in pain.

The Myrrdonite looks at Raugunitar 'You've interfered enough. I will kill you first.'

Just then the door to the room bursts open. It is two Ourhkina. Aphrodite recognizes one of them as Gabriel. The other is his brother Michael.

Michael draws his sword and says 'Back away now.'

The Myrrdonite Hacklind turns to face them and says 'Ourhkina, I always wanted to see what your kind were made of.'

Gabriel says to Michael 'On your lead.' Michael nods in agreement and they begin their attack.

The Myrrdonite launches coils, but Gabriel's spear and Michael's sword cut through them.

Michael confronts Hacklind head on as Gabriel attacks from behind. They strike at him and their weapons have an effect. The Myrrdonite takes damage.

More coils come from Hacklind's hand and wrap around Gabriel's spear and then tosses him against the wall.

The Myrrdonite then turns on Michael who uses swift sword moves to cut through the coils. Then Michael cuts off Hacklind's four arms and they drop to the floor. Following up with a move, Michael spins around and decapitates him.

Gabriel comes up to Aphrodite and Yahweh and asks 'Are you alright?'

Aphrodite is shaken but not as terrified as she was. She responds 'I am okay.' She looks across the room 'Poseidon though, he is hurt.'

Gabriel looks where the bookshelf fell on Poseidon. He lifts it up as Aphrodite rolls him over. She sees that he has life in his eyes. He seems fine except for getting the wind knocked out of him.

Poseidon asks 'Did I get him?'

Aphrodite smiles 'No, but you tried.'

Raugunitar regains himself and looks at the two Ourhkina. 'Have you come to assist us?'

Michael says 'The Ourhkina are here. We are helping to fight back the Jotunheim armies now. Come.'

Raugunitar asks 'What of the King?

Michael says 'They are on their way, the Arcturians should be arriving with them soon. We should be able to push back the Jotunheim armies.'

Raugunitar picks up his sword 'Then I will join the battle.'

Michael stands over Hacklind's body 'Why would a Myrrdonite come here to kill the living? I thought they only hunted those who escape from the borderlands.'

Gabriel says 'Many strange things have been going on there. The Myrrdonite have changed their ways. Other beings have been there from other realms. There is a presence of the ones known as the Bentian. That is all I know.'

Michael says 'We must discover what is going on, but none of us know the borderlands that well.'

Gabriel says 'One of us does. EinossArku would know the borderlands. Among all of us, he has spent the most time there. He is most familiar with the Myrrdonite and their ways. I will go to him and find out what he knows.'

Gabriel turns to Aphrodite and says 'You will be alright now young Asherah.' He then opens a portal and steps through.

Michael comes to Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Yahweh and says 'Stay here. You will be safe. I must return to the battle and help clear the rest of the kingdom of these invaders.' They all agree and Michael leaves the room.

Yahweh notices the concerned look on Aphrodite's face and asks 'Are you alright Asherah? Is there something wrong?'

Aphrodite says 'A being came here to kill me. I am afraid. Someone out there wants me dead and I don't know why.' She starts to weep.

Yahweh takes her in his arms and holds her. Poseidon says 'Don't worry sister, we won't let anything happen to you.'

When the fighting has calmed down and the invaders driven out, Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Yahweh make their way down to the courtyard. They notice many are dead.

Aphrodite sees King Yserah and rushes over to him. He turns and looks at her. She weeps and embraces him. He is bloodied and dirty from battle.

King Yserah says 'Asherah, it is good to see you unharmed.'

Aphrodite smiles with tears in her eyes 'It is good to see you too. I am so happy to know you are alive.'

She notices the Arcturian ships along with the Ourhkina and the Valar. Many are dead, both invaders and those of Alfheim alike.

King Yserah says 'We have driven back the enemy, but I'm afraid today is only the beginning of many conflicts to come.'

Another portal opens up in the courtyard and Zeus steps through wearing full battle armor with Ares by his side. He has many of his guards.

Zeus asks 'Have I arrived too late? I just received the message. Melek Taus just came to us.'

Melek Taus comes out of the portal and says 'It appears my brothers arrived on time and the King has returned.'

Zeus steps forward to King Yserah and bows 'Apologies great King. I came as quick as I could.'

Other divine of the pantheons come through portals looking for their children who had been sent here.

King Yserah looks around and replies 'You came, but I am afraid Zeus this is only the beginning. War is coming to the realms. We must hold council and find out who our allies are. Who stands with us and who is against us.'

Zeus says 'Agreed.'

King Yserah says 'I think it is best after today's events that the young divine return to their pantheons and home realms. They would be much safer there. I must look to my own now. I am afraid I failed you all in protecting them.'

Zeus looks around 'It seems none of them have been harmed. But yes, you are right. They would be much safer back in their own home realms. I will gather council and call upon the houses and pantheons.'

Zeus places his hands on the Elven King's shoulders and continues 'We will not let all this go unavenged great King Yserah. Let it be known that Olympus stands with Alfheim. I will gather them and let them know you come to speak of them about this great danger.'

King Yserah bows 'Thank you Zeus. You are a wise and powerful King.'

Zeus looks at Aphrodite and Poseidon and says 'We should be going soon. We are returning to Olympus. I am glad to see none of you are harmed.'

Poseidon says 'Good. I am tired of this place. There is too much danger here. I am not yet ready to die and from what I discovered I am not yet ready to be a warrior.'

Zeus places his hand on Poseidon's shoulder and says 'One day little brother you will prove yourself.'

Aphrodite feels saddened by the thought of leaving. As she walks around she notices a small gnome. He is crying over another fallen gnome.

She walks closer and recognizes the face of the dead gnome as Saumjin. She kneels down beside his son Jimjin as tears roll down her face.

Aphrodite says 'I am so sorry.'

Jimjin bursts into tears and hugs her. She returns the hug and comforts him.

Aphrodite looks at him with teary eyes and says 'I know your father will be so proud of you. He is in a better place now.' Another female gnome comes to get Jimjin and she walks away.

Aphrodite turns to Yahweh and says 'I don't know if you can come with me to Olympus. I fear I may never see you again.'

Yahweh says 'I know the best place for me to go is home. That is where I will be safe. I promise you will see me again. I have something for you. Something I have been making.'

He brings out a small stone from his pocket and gives it to her.

Aphrodite asks 'What is it?'

Yahweh closes her hands around the stone and says 'Whenever you want to see me, just think of me and this stone will take you there.'

Aphrodite smiles with delight. She kisses Yahweh on the forehead and embraces him. 'I will think of you soon and often.'

Yahweh smiles 'That means we will see each other soon.'

The pantheons gather up their young divine and make ready to leave. As she walks by Aphrodite sees King Yserah standing next to Raugunitar.

Aphrodite walks up to Raugunitar 'I want to thank you for saving my life.' Raugunitar acknowledges this with a nod.

Aphrodite then turns to King Yserah 'I want to thank you so much for having me here and for everything you have done for me.'

She brings out the keys he entrusted her with. She places them in his hands and he looks down upon them.

King Yserah smiles 'These will be waiting for you here when you come back. I know when these conflicts and trials have ended you will return. I will keep them here for you.' Aphrodite embraces him.

King Yserah kisses her on the forehead 'Be well young Asherah. I know in time you will grow strong.'

Aphrodite turns to face her brother Poseidon. He asks 'Are you ready to go home?' Himeros and Eros are with him.

Aphrodite looks around and says 'Yes, although I feel I will be coming back here someday.'

They gather with the other young divine as they step inside the portals. Zeus is standing there to make sure all go through.

Zeus turns to her and says 'Well Aphrodite, we missed you at home. I have missed your company. My former wife Hera has returned. She wishes to apologize for her harsh words toward you. When we get back to Olympus, you are more than welcome to join us any time at my palace.'

Aphrodite says 'I would like that. And if I may ask Zeus, great King, if I may also be called by another name.'

Zeus says 'And what would that name be?'

Aphrodite says 'I wish for others to know me as Asherah.'

Zeus smiles 'Then it shall be, you will also be known by the name Asherah. Now come.' They both step through the portal back to Olympus.

Part Twelve...

At this time Aphrodite is around 19 years old in human standards. This part of the memory opens with her running at a fast pace on a darker world. Freya and Artemis follow behind her.

Freya shouts 'Keep going! We need them to follow us as far as we can.'

Artemis says 'Asherah, are you sure my brother Ares will be there?'

Aphrodite says 'He is already in position. We just need to get this piece to him.' She carries something in a golden fleece bag. It radiates with dark energy.

Behind them are Jotunn, dark elves, and trolls in pursuit. Arrows fly around Aphrodite, Freya, and Artemis. They keep running.

A dark elf brings out a sling and twirls it. They wrap around both of Aphrodite's legs and she crashes to the ground.

Artemis unleashes arrows striking down some of them. Freya picks Aphrodite up and throws her over her shoulder.

Freya says 'Sorry Asherah. I don't have time to cut this off. I have the strength to carry you. Just hold onto that sack.'

Freya runs at great speed but takes a few arrows to her left shoulder. She is strong and keeps running as she bleeds.

Artemis catches up to Freya and Aphrodite. The Jotunn, dark elves, and trolls are closing in on them.

Freya yells 'There! Quickly, over the hill.'

Aphrodite is over Freya's shoulder facing the pursuers. She can see them closing in faster. She thinks of an incantation that may slow them down a little.

As Aphrodite starts to speak the words of the incantation she reaches into a small bag around her neck and pulls out a glowing red stone.

After she speaks the words she throws the stone to the ground and it spreads out into a wall of fire. This takes the pursuers by surprise.

Artemis smiles 'That was quick thinking Asherah.'

The pursuing enemies are not distracted for long. They soon start chasing again.

As the three ladies make their way to the top of the hill they see Ares. He draws his sword and raises it up. Behind him King Yserah rides up with Alakin and some of the Elven army.

The Olympian army is there. Aphrodite sees her brother Poseidon. She also sees Thor and those of the Nordic pantheon who have brought their Raugnitine warriors.

Ares lowers his sword and gives the command. The armies go rushing forth. Aphrodite passes them as they run down the hill.

King Yserah meets her halfway down and pulls Aphrodite up onto his steed. He rides up over the hill away from the clashing armies.

When they are a safe distance away he pulls her down from the horse. Eros and Himeros are there.

King Yserah says 'Tell me my dear Asherah, tell me the mission is successful. Tell me you have it.'

Aphrodite holds up the golden fleece bag and slightly opens the top. A little bit of dark energy comes out. King Yserah places his hands on hers to close the sack quickly. It seems he was frightened for a moment, but now a small grin crosses his face.

King Yserah says 'You have done it Asherah. Now we must drive them back. Stay here.'

Aphrodite says 'My King, there is one more thing. Saurzon is here.'

This being Saurzon is also known as Sauros. He is called Sauron by JRR Tolkein. By the way, Tolkein has a Maia true self which is why he had so much knowledge on these topics.

King Yserah says 'Saurzon, then I shall have to deal with him myself.'

He signals to a guard 'Tell the Arcturians we will need their help. Ready their ships.'

King Yserah turns to Aphrodite 'This may be my last day Asherah. I want you to know that I have grown very fond of you. If I should fall I hope we will meet again in the world beyond.' He turns away and rides off.

Aphrodite smiles 'You will live this day great King. You will not fall. You will be victorious.'

On the other side of the hill down below in the valley a battle rages. Machines of Jotunheim fire upon the allied armies. Thor and Poseidon are fighting down below against enemy troops.

Poseidon says 'We will be slaughtered by those machines. We need to find a way to take them down until the Arcturians move into position.'

Thor laughs 'Well, we will just have to get up to them.'

He grabs Poseidon by the collar of his armor, spins around and tosses him up onto one of the machines. Then Thor runs a few paces and leaps up to join Poseidon on the machine.

Jotunn, dark elves, and trolls pour out from hatches and are taken down by Thor and Poseidon.

Aphrodite listens to the sounds of battle. She turns to Eros and Himeros and gives them the golden fleece bag. 'Keep this here. I am not going to stand on the sidelines.'

She speaks the incantation for a portal and goes through. She miscalculated and comes out the other side upside down suspended high in the air.

Aphrodite falls in a panic. She thinks of a way to save herself and remembers the incantation of levitation. She speaks the words as she is falling.

Below her she sees a big machine from Jotunheim. This makes her lose concentration on the incantation. She is falling toward the machine.

Aphrodite suddenly feels someone grab her and lift her back up. It is Apollo. He says 'I have you Asherah. Don't worry.'

Apollo lowers her down where the machine is. She notices Poseidon and Thor are close by and calls out to them.

Poseidon says 'Sister, how the hell did you get here?'

Aphrodite says 'I wasn't going to stand by and let you have all the fun.'

She speaks another incantation and small light pink orbs swirl around her. Aphrodite gives a command and the orbs shoot down blasting back the troops on the machine.

Thor finds an entrance to the machine and smashes it open. He says 'Asherah, you got any powerful magic in that little bag of yours? If you do, bring it over this way.'

Aphrodite reaches into the small bag around her neck and pulls out a vibrant white orb. She speaks an incantation and tosses it to Thor. He catches it and throws it down inside the hatch.

Thor says 'Time to get out of here!' He grabs Aphrodite and Poseidon and takes a mighty leap off the machine as it explodes.

A dark clouded figure stands behind the battle lines of enemy troops. This is Saurzon who is the leader of the dark elves and a powerful warlock. He watches Thor, Aphrodite, and Poseidon.

A Jotunn next to him says 'Master, they destroyed the machine. The piece you seek is on the other side of the hill behind their armies. We located it, but it may be difficult for us to get through.'

Saurzon says 'This is no concern of mine.'

The sky starts to rumble, he looks up to see Arcturian ships join the battle. They fire upon his armies destroying the machines. His troops are in disarray.

Dark elf servant says 'Master, it is lost. We should return.'

Saurzon says 'You are a coward. It is not lost. The battle will be mine.' He draws his long black sword. 'I require your services no more.'

The dark elf servant kneels as Saurzon swings his sword and decapitates him.

Saurzon says 'These weak ones. They stand against me. They believe that victory is in their grasp. They wish to take from me what is mine. What my master has given me. I shall show them true power.'

He makes his way down toward the battle. As he heads through elven, nordic, and olympian warriors try to attack him. With a wave of his hand he sends them flying back. As they hit the ground their life is drained out of them. They wither away into corpses.

Thor notices this and says 'Asherah, what we came for. Where is it?'

Aphrodite gets panic in her eyes 'I left it with Himeros and Eros.'

Poseidon says 'Then we must get back to them. Saurzon will come for the piece. We must stop him.'

Aphrodite says 'We must find King Yserah, Raugunitar, and General Silverleaf. Saurzon is a powerful foe to deal with. We won't be able to take him on ourselves.'

Thor laughs 'I bring him down today.' He runs toward Saurzon.

Aphrodite yells 'Thor! No! He is too powerful for you!'

It is too late, Thor leaps into the air to strike down with a mighty battle axe. Saurzon raises his left hand and Thor is suspended in mid-air.

Saurzon looks at him 'So this is the mighty Thor. Well boy, let me show you what true power is.'

Thor tenses up, he can feel his whole body ache as if he is being crushed. He cries out in agony and fights back with all his strength against the powerful magic over him.

Saurzon starts to close his fist 'I will crush you first, then I will retrieve what is mine.'

An arrow flies through the eye slot of his helmet striking him. Saurzon loses concentration and Thor falls to the ground passed out.

More arrows strike at Saurzon's armor. He regains himself and with a wave of his hand the arrows stop a few feet in front of him and burn away.

Artemis yells 'Apollo, grab him!'

Apollo swoops down from the sky and grabs Thor. With a mighty heave he tries to lift Thor into the air. Apollo struggles to get Thor off the ground.

Freya yells 'Hurry! Get him out! We cannot hold them for long!' She and Artemis continue unleashing arrows.

Saurzon moves toward Apollo lifting the unconscious Thor. Apollo says 'Oh shit.'

Arrows bounce off Saurzon like there is an invisible shield surrounding him.

Saurzon approaches Apollo as he struggles lifting Thor high enough to make a get away.

Saurzon says 'I am done with you weak divine stealing from me.' He raises his hand and Apollo looks down with fright knowing these may be his last moments.

Just then an energy blast strikes near Saurzon and he is blown back. The Arcturians have targeted him.

Another energy beam comes down and wraps itself around Thor, Apollo, Artemis, and Freya. Lifting them up as Arcturian battle mages join in the fight.

Saurzon looks at the four escaping 'I will deal with them later. As for you Arcturians and your technology, you wish to join the enemies of the master. Well, I have allies too.'

He casts a dark black orb in his hand and it shoots up into the air. It separates into hundreds of pieces that expand into large portals.

Nether ships from the Nether realm come out of the portals. They unleash powerful Nether energy striking at the Arcturian ships bringing some of them down.

Aphrodite and Poseidon find King Yserah and Raugunitar surrounded by Jotunn, dark elves, and trolls.

Even though the odds may seem uneven, those who strike forward end up falling. King Yserah and Raugunitar are mighty warriors. Poseidon joins them in the fight.

King Yserah says 'Lady Asherah, what are you doing here? Where is the piece we have stolen?'

Aphrodite says 'I left it with Himeros and Eros. Saurzon is coming for it. We must get to it before he does.'

King Yserah nods and fights back more against the enemies that surround them.

Raugunitar says 'Asherah, get us a portal ready.'

Aphrodite runs to the center of King Yserah, Raugunitar, and Poseidon. They surround her to protect her as she casts the portal. She steps half-way through and says 'Come, hurry!'

They come out the other side and see the Erotes Himeros and Eros holding the golden sack.

King Yserah tells them 'Find Ares, let's see if we can slow them down. We must get this to safety.'

They fly toward Ares and tell him 'Saurzon is coming for the piece. King Yserah sent us. He wants you to hold him back until we can get the piece to safety.'

Ares says 'My Myrmidon, with me. We cannot let Saurzon get over the hill. If he gains the piece, all is lost. We shall either destroy him or we will dine with my uncle Hades tonight. To the last. Myrmidon, charge!'

Aphrodite concentrates on making a portal to leave this world. Raugunitar asks 'What seems to be the problem? Bring the portal up. We need to get this piece out of here.'

Aphrodite angrily replies 'I have been trying since we took it. For some reason Saurzon has a powerful magic energy over this world. I cannot portal us off here.'

King Yserah places his hand on her shoulder 'Keep trying. We will hold him if he comes.'

Raugunitar says 'Look, the Nether.'

King Yserah looks up and notices the Nether ships. He says 'So Queen Drexia has made her choice.'

Drexia is a Nether Dragon and Queen of the Nether.

Raugunitar asks 'Do all the Drakon stand against us?'

King Yserah smiles 'No, the Drakon are with us.'

Many Drakon led by Kyrse the Dragon of Chaos attack the Nether ships giving the advantage to the Arcturians.

Aphrodite is deep in concentration trying to overcome the magic barrier that blocks her from creating a portal off this world.

King Yserah asks 'Any success young Asherah?

Aphrodite says 'I think I almost got it.'

Thousands of Myrmidon warriors rush toward Saurzon and surround him. Arrows and javalins fly at him to no avail.

Saurzon says 'I am tired of playing games. If you stand in my way then you shall all die.'

Saurzon draws his sword and with one swing of his arm he cuts down many as if he were cutting through them like weeds. They fly back dying and decaying away into withered corpses.

Ares notices many of his Myrmidon falling and becomes enraged. He screams out 'Saurzon! It is me who challenges you! Me who stands before you! Ares Olympian God of War!'

Ares rushes forward and fights against Saurzon. Ares, who is a skilled swordsman, ends up breaking through all of Saurzon's sword strikes.

With a mighty blow Ares brings his sword down into Saurzon's helm and it stops half-way through his head.

Saurzon grabs Ares by the back of his armor and tosses him back. Then Saurzon falls down to one knee. His hand reaches for the hilt of sword and he pulls it out of his head.

As Saurzon pulls the sword away it seems he is unfazed. He crushes the sword and looks at Ares. 'A good strike. A deadly blow. But not good enough.'

With a wave of Saurzon's hand, Ares lifts into the air and his armor begins to crush him.

Ares cries out in agony as he reaches down into his belt. He draws his dagger with all his strength and throws it at Saurzon's hand.

This breaks Saurzon's concentration and Ares falls to the ground unconscious.

Saurzon says 'Maybe I will keep you as a servant to myself.' He walks and slices through the Myrmidon attacking him.

He walks over the hill and notices Aphrodite and the others down in the valley. He can sense the piece.

Saurzon says 'At last, I will take back what you have stolen from me. Yserah, how I have longed to kill you. This day comes. Alfheim will fall.'

King Yserah draws his sword 'Whatever happens Asherah, do not let him get that piece.'

Raugunitar has his sword and Poseidon is ready with a spear. The three of them rush forward clashing with Saurzon. He is strong and it seems he gets stronger the closer he is to the piece.

Saurzon knocks back King Yserah then grabs Raugunitar by the arm and tosses him away.

Poseidon goes in for a strike but Saurzon cuts him through the leg with his sword. Poseidon screams out in pain.

Saurzon places his hand on Poseidon's head. 'I will crush your skull boy.' Aphrodite cries out 'Brother!'

As Saurzon reaches his other hand forward his fingers are sliced off by King Yserah. He then pushes Poseidon aside.

Saurzon falls back in pain and looks at his hand with the missing fingers. 'You will pay for that King. You will pay with your life and your realm.'

King Yserah says with anger in his eyes 'If I die today I am but one. Alfheim is many and shall never fall to you.' He strikes forward and they both clash.

Raugunitar joins the fight, but Saurzon blasts him back with a wave of his fingerless hand. He flies through the air and hits the ground going through the earth beneath him until a large rock in the ground stops his momentum. He is knocked unconscious.

King Yserah advances his attack. Saurzon strikes across Yserah's chest cutting through his armor. Then disarms Yserah with another strike.

Saurzon drives his sword into the ground and lifts King Yserah by his neck into the air. He looks into his eyes and says 'Now you die King.' He squeezes his hand around Yserah's neck.

Just then a blinding pink light blasts Saurzon in the eyes. King Yserah drops to the ground.

When Saurzon regains himself he notices Aphrodite standing there with her dagger and another pink fiery orb in her hand.

Aphrodite says 'He does not die today. It is you who will fall.' She unleashes the orb and when it strikes Saurzon he bursts into pink flames.

Saurzon's armies begin to fall apart. The Nether retreat back through the portals as they are chased by the Arcturians. The Drakon and allies cause Saurzon's forces to flee. The battle is lost for Saurzon.

Aphrodite rushes to the side of King Yserah and lifts him up. She speaks incantations for healing while pressing her hands upon his wounded chest.

King Yserah regains his consciousness. Aphrodite looks into his eyes 'Don't worry King. You won't die from this. You will heal and live.'

Yserah's eyes widen and he yells 'Watch out Asherah!' He pushes her off him and does a roll as Saurzon strikes down with his sword.

Saurzon turns his gaze toward Aphrodite 'I see someone has been studying under Thoth. You have become quite good, but your weak little incantations are nothing to the true power that I possess.'

Saurzon drives his sword into the ground and raises his hand toward Aphrodite then opens his palm. She lifts off the ground and moves toward him. She cannot break this holding.

As Aphrodite nears him Saurzon grabs her by her cloak and says 'Such a pretty thing. You are beautiful like the master said.'

Aphrodite looks at him 'Who is your master? You can at least let me know that before I die. He sent someone to kill me before and I survived that one.'

Saurzon laughs 'I am not killing you. You are just a little prize I will take to my master once I regain what you stole from me. You see Asherah, you are valuable to the master. You will serve him.'

Himeros and Eros draw their little bows shooting small arrows at Saurzon, but they just bounce off.

Saurzon looks at them 'I see you brought your pets.' With a wave of his fingerless hand Himeros and Eros fall to the ground turned into piglets.

Saurzon says to Aphrodite 'Be thankful I chose not to kill them. Now we will take you to the master and I will regain what is mine.'

He starts speaking a strange language and she feels her eyes become heavy. She fights it with all her might. He is trying to put an incantation upon her.

Aphrodite reaches down for her dagger and stabs Saurzon in the right shoulder. This does not affect him.

Just then a spear thrusts through his chest from behind almost striking her. Saurzon loses concentration. Aphrodite falls to the ground and crawls away.

Poseidon stands behind him 'Keep your fucking hands off my sister!'

Saurzon reaches down and breaks the tip of the spear and pulls it out of his chest. He turns to Poseidon 'Brotherly love, I admire you for that. But you are not needed. Now since you love your sister so much, she can watch you die.'

Poseidon draws his short sword 'You are the one who is going to die here today.'

He looks at his sister 'Asherah, open the portal. Get the piece way from him.' Poseidon then steps back as Saurzon moves closer.

Saurzon says 'I could crush you no matter how much distance you try to keep from me. I am going to take pleasure in ripping your head off.'

King Yserah strikes Saurzon in his side. Saurzon turns to him and says 'Why don't you just die?'

King Yserah says 'I live as Alfheim will live.'

Aphrodite returns to the piece and speaks the incantation for a portal. Before she can finish the words a portal opens up. Through it steps Hecate, Prometheus, and Zeus.

Hecate says 'You have done well Asherah. We will take it from here.' She takes the golden fleece bag with the piece in it.

Saurzon notices he is outmatched and says 'Titans. More Olympians. This day may be lost, but we will come and you will all suffer.'

Saurzon turns and speaks an incantation. A Myrrdonite rift opens and he goes through closing it behind him.
