Midorra: Demi-Aspect of Great Mother and Tulkas

The true self past vision session opens up with young Tulkas. He seems to be a man between the age of 19 and 20 in Midgard years.

He is climbing the side of a cliff that leads up to a large black mountain. There is deep blue snow falling from the sky. Above, the clouds are storming.

There is a rope tied around Tulkas as he climbs. He makes it up to a high ledge, grabs onto the rope and begins to pull. Tied to the other end is a blueish red obelisk. It slowly makes its way up, being pulled up the mountain by Tulkas.

Tulkas has accepted this task. It is a test of strength to him. There are beings that live down in the valley below.
They live in small settlements along the coastline. They are known as the Rykyr, they are small beings. Humanoid-like with long ears and large eyes. Greenish skin.

They also have something that looks like wings spreading from their arms down to their chest. This must be to help them to swim, although they are not very advanced swimmers.

Tulkas is pulling the obelisk up to the top. This will keep the upper mountains in a winter state. During the spring when the snow melts, the water rushes down and sweeps away the Rykyr settlements.

Tulkas pulls the obelisk up to the ledge and places it. He then sits down with his back against the cliff. He is tired from the journey and it is bitter cold, but he endures it.

He decides to rest there and continue the task tomorrow. A storm is beating hard on the mountain. It is hazy and hard to see. Off in the distance, Tulkas sees movement along the cliffs.

He stands up and places his hand above his eyes to shield them from the snow. He sees the strange creature get closer and closer. It is a four-legged creature with pointed ears and a long snout.

It is slender and beautiful in color. Its color matches the sides of the cliff. With large yellow eyes, it gazes at Tulkas and begins to move forward.

The small fox-like creature who is really Great Mother makes her way on to the ledge. Tulkas looks down on it and says 'Where have you come from, little one?'

To his surprise, the creature responds 'I have been following you all the way up the mountain. I see you have been pulling up that large stone. You are very strong.'

Tulkas explains the situation as to why he is bringing up the large obelisk to the top of the mountain. This intrigues the fox-like creature and she replies 'You are very kind to do this for them.'

Tulkas says 'It is not only for them and their survival when the spring comes, but it is also a test of strength.'

Tulkas speaks to this small fox-like creature for a while, explaining the many adventures and places he has been. How he has tested his strength and endurance through each trial.

It begins to grow colder. The fox-like creature moves closer to Tulkas. She says 'Let me wrap myself around you and I will keep you warm.'

Tulkas smiles and says 'Yes. Please.' The fox-like creature wraps herself around him. She asks 'Are you warmer?' Tulkas replies 'Yes, a little bit.'

Tulkas feels his eyes begin to grow heavy. He is staring at the fox-like creature who is looking at him as he lays against the side of the cliff.

The fox-like creature changes into a humanoid form. Although she has kept the pointed-like ears and tail, she has changed into an alluring beautiful woman.

This woman reaches down and kisses Tulkas' lips. He falls into an erotic dream. When Tulkas opens his eyes in the morning, the storm has subsided and the sky is clear. There is no sight of the fox-like creature that was there the night before.

Tulkas thinks to himself 'Hm, she must be around here somewhere. Maybe I will see her again.' He then begins to climb the cliff again to bring the obelisk to the top. Along the way he keeps an eye out for the fox, looking for her, but he never sees her.

Tulkas completes his task of bringing the obelisk to the top of the mountain and begins to make his descent back down. The whole time he looks for the fox-like creature to return, but she never does.

Tulkas has made his way down to the Rykyr village at the bottom of the mountain. They all greet him and celebrate him. He has helped them and saved them from much ruin when the spring would come and melt the snow and flood the valley below.

All the while, Tulkas looks back up to the mountain and wonders if he will ever see the fox-like creature again.

A little time passes as Tulkas remains in the village of the Rykyr. Every so often he journeys up the mountain looking for the fox-like creature that he had met that day, but he never finds her.

One day in the village, there is a knock on his door. He opens the door to see an elder female Rykyr. She is holding something in her arms. A small bundle that looks like a baby.

She says that she saw in the night a fox bring the baby down and set it on the doorstep of where Tulkas lived. Tulkas immediately thinks of the fox-like creature. He takes the baby into his arms and looks down upon her.

She has very blueish skin and beautiful onyx black hair and the same pointed ears as her mother. Her eyes are a little large, they shine a deep emerald green.

Tulkas can sense the presence of his strength within her and he knows that this little girl is his child. He names her Mikurah.

Mikurah and Tulkas spend the next few years of her life there within the small village of the Rykyr. He teaches her many things and takes her up the mountain and along the coastline where they find seashells.

Mikurah is about 3 to 4 years old in Midgard years. She enjoys her time with her father among the Rykyr. Her father teaches her much and she is always by his side.

Tulkas looks at the mountain every evening, wondering about the mysterious fox woman. He longs to see her again and wonders if someday he ever will.

Early one morning there is a pounding on Tulkas' door. Tulkas and Mikurah are resting in bed. Tulkas gets up and hurries to the door. Mikurah wakes up and says 'Papa, who's there?'

Tulkas says 'I do not know.' He opens the door and sees several Rykyr gathered outside his house. They are in a panic.

They begin to tell him that a small group of Rykyr went up into the mountains to gather things. Herbs and such. There was a rockslide and several of them were buried underneath. They could hear them crying out.

They need Tulkas to come and move the rocks. He turns to Mikurah and says there are Rykyr that urgently need his help as they are trapped under rocks up at the mountain. He tells her he will take her to Garshinn.

Garshinn is a village elder who watches the children while the Rykyr and Tulkas go about their daily tasks and chores.

Mikurah gathers her things and heads off with her father to Garshinn. Some of the other children are already gathered. Garshinn tells Tulkas that she will keep a good eye on Mikurah.

They will be following the stream down to where the ocean is. They will be there collecting shells. Tulkas trusts that Garshinn will keep an eye on her.

He kisses Mikurah on the forehead and heads off with the other Rykyr. Mikurah heads with Garshinn and the other children down the stream to the ocean. The children are playing and gathering shells.

On the mountain...

Tulkas is moving the rocks. The Rykyr are helping those who were buried underneath. Only two out of twelve had died. The Rykyr are sad but relieved that it was not more.

As Tulkas moves more of the rocks, he then hears a loud boom. All the Rykyr turn and look up. There is something floating in the sky. One of the Rykyr says 'It looks like a mountain.'

Tulkas has a deep sense of worry. It is strange and never been seen in this world before. He sets off worried. He finds a clearing where he can better see the object.

As he looks up, panic strikes him. He has seen these before. He knows what has come here, who have come here.

Several of the Rykyr join him and say 'What is it? Who are they?' Tulkas turns to them and says 'We must get back to the village. We must evacuate everyone now.'

One of the Rykyr says 'Why the worry? Who are they?' Tulkas with a stern look says 'Slavers.' He then tells them 'Go! Back to the village, we must evacuate everyone!'

He remembers Mikurah, they are down by the coast. Noises begin coming from the large object. Several crafts have departed from the object and are spreading out. Tulkas begins to run in a panic.

Meanwhile down by the coast on the beach...

The children and Garshinn have noticed the object in the sky and the crafts that came from it. One of them is heading right towards them.

Garshinn realizes that this seems quite odd. She begins to panic and calls for the children. Mikurah is off in the distance but she gets a sense of danger and begins running with the other children and Garshinn.

They begin to head back up the stream towards the village. Crafts fly over them in the direction of the village. Bursts of energy come from the crafts. Off in the distance, they can see explosions.

Several more crafts begin to land. One of them is almost directly above where the children and Mikurah are. They are running. Strange beings appear from the sides of the craft. Odd looking beings, large ones they have never seen before.

One who looks almost like a lizard jumps down. He sends out a net from his hand glowing with energy. It wraps around several of the children and then attaches to a hook which pulls them up to the ship.

Garshinn says 'Run! Run!' One of the slavers target her and throws a javelin. She is impaled. This frightens Mikurah, she takes off as fast as she can. Running almost on all fours. She stumbles and falls.

A strange two-headed being jumps down and reaches to grab her. She turns around as the being grabs her with his hand. She bites down with all her might with her fox canines. She can taste the blood of the being in her mouth.

The being shrieks in pain and waves his arm frantically. Mikurah goes flying. She tumbles and rolls on the ground but catches herself and is able to get back up and keep running.

She is heading towards the village. There she can see slaver crafts and hear the screams of the Rykyr. There are many strange beings on the ground.

A strange purpleish being with two large horns is gathering some of the Rykyr and killing some of them and tossing them aside. Others he throws into a large cage. Mikurah hears him say something in a strange language.

Then the being turns his focus towards Mikurah. He laughs and he gives a command in a strange language. He begins running toward her followed by two other slavers. Mikurah panics, she has nowhere to run.

Just then she hears her father call out 'Mikurah!' She turns to see Tulkas heading in her direction. She runs towards him. The other slavers follow her.

As she reaches her father, she runs behind him. The beings try to attack Tulkas. The large purpleish being with horns makes a move with a large axe.

He strikes down but Tulkas side steps. He grabs the slaver's arm, spinning around and breaking it. He disarms him and takes the axe, chopping the throat of the purple being.

The two other slavers try to attack him. Tulkas throws the axe, slicing one of the being's head clean off. The other slaver tries to go at him with an energy javelin.

Tulkas grabs the end. The slaver charges it and it shocks Tulkas but he still holds on. He spins the javelin around and tosses the being away.

The being lands hard and as he stands back up, Tulkas throws the javelin and it impales him. There are sudden explosions around Tulkas. A craft is shooting at him. Several other slavers jump down from the craft and run towards him. One of them points a gun-like weapon at him.

A slaver attacks Tulkas with an energy javelin. Tulkas sidesteps him, grabs the energy javelin and smashes the slaver down, piercing his head with the javelin.

Mikurah has hidden behind Tulkas' leg. The slaver with the energy rifle points it at her and says 'Surrender now or I'll blast the little brat away. You will make a fine slave in the gladiator pits. Surrender and I'll spare you both, or watch her die.'

Tulkas laughs and says 'You have to get through me first.' He quickly throws the energy javelin which pierces the being through the head.

Tulkas picks up Mikurah and puts her on his back. He tells her to hold on. Tulkas runs towards the energy rifle and grabs it. He shoots several shots at the craft.

The craft lowers a bit to the ground. Several other slavers jump out and Tulkas quickly shoots them down. He then goes to the side of one of the crafts. He places Mikurah inside and then jumps in. He notices the pilot. He reaches him and before the pilot can react, he snaps his neck. Tulkas tosses his body out of the craft.

Tulkas hears the cries of some of the Rykyr who saw what happened. They are headed for the craft. Tulkas places Mikurah in the seat. The craft is hovering a bit off the ground. He says 'Stay here. I'll be right back. Don't worry.'

Tulkas approaches the hatch and reaches down. He lifts several Rykyr onto the craft. He notices other crafts approaching. They begin firing. He is not able to save many before he is forced to close the hatch.

Mikurah calls out to him 'Papa, what will we do? What about the other Rykyr?' She then begins to weep 'They killed Garshinn. They killed her, Papa.'

Tulkas with sadness in his eyes says 'I know.' He takes control of the craft and flies away as a couple other slaver crafts follow him. The craft they are on takes a hit. The whole craft shakes. There is panic among the Rykyr. Mikurah grabs tight onto Tulkas. She tells him 'I am scared.'

Tulkas flies up to the top of the mountains. He says 'We will lose them in the storm.' The storm rages as lightning strikes all across the sky, hitting the side of the mountains. Tulkas flies the craft through.

The slaver crafts are not used to piloting in such conditions and do not know the ways of the storms and how strong they are. They crash against the sides of the mountains.

Inside the craft, all kinds of strange alarms begin to sound and the craft shakes. Tulkas yells to everyone 'Hold on!' He places his arms around Mikurah as the craft crashes into the snow peaks. It skids for a bit and comes to a stop on a large plateau high above the mountains.

Tulkas is shaken and looks down at Mikurah and asks 'Are you alright my dear?' She looks up and says 'Yes Papa.' Tulkas places her down on the floor. He looks back to check on the Rykyr.

Although some of them suffer a few bumps and scrapes, they seem to be fine. He tells them all 'It is going to be hard and cold. Gather what you can on this craft, we cannot stay here. If they find us, they will kill us all.'

Tulkas, Mikurah, and the Rykyr exit the craft. They find sanctuary from the storm on the plateau in a heavy forest of black cedar like trees.

Everyone gathers around as Tulkas gathers a bit of dry wood and creates a fire. They huddle around the fire for warmth. Mikurah is resting against her father. Many of the Rykyr are exhausted and sleep. Tulkas remains vigilant.

Tulkas hears heavy footsteps off in the distance and cracking of branches. He moves Mikurah gently to not disturb her sleep. He grabs an energy javelin that he found on board the slaver craft. He listens and turns his head in the direction of the noises. It is coming closer.

He raises the energy javelin and makes ready. He can see a figure approaching. Tulkas shouts out 'One more step and I will kill you.'

This large being looks like a hairy turtle with a white shell and dark blue hair color on their head. They have a heavy beak and darkish purple skin.

He raises his hand and speaks slowly 'I do not come to hurt you, friends. I only come because you are here in my woods. I have noticed a strange craft flying about. There is danger on the winds. They blow through the trees and speak to me. My name is Mongwin.

You and these Rykyr should not be up here. Their bodies are not made for this type of cold and they will freeze. Come to my underground dwelling. There you will be safe.'

Tulkas can sense that this being has a gentle nature to him. He lowers the energy javelin. Some of the Rykyr begin to wake up. He says 'I thank you for what you offer, but I am afraid I have stolen one of the slaver's ships. I killed many of them. They may come looking for us. Take the Rykyr and my daughter there. I cannot put the rest of you at risk.'

Mongwin replies 'Nonsense, brave one. They will never find my lair, for it is beneath the plateau and the high mountain. Come, there you will find warmth and food. You shall live with me there until this threat has passed.'

Mikurah wakes up and notices the large creature. Mongwin looks down on her and smiles. She smiles back at him. There is something warm and gentle about this creature.

She steps to her father's side and takes his hand. She says 'Can we go with him Papa?'

Tulkas looks down at her and smiles 'Yes, you and I and the Rykyr will go with him. There we will be safe.'

Mongwin leads Tulkas, Mikurah, and the Rykyr through the forest. In the center, there is a large black stone. Mongwin speaks something in a strange language. He raises his hands in the air. The black stone moves away and a secret door reveals itself.

Mongwin says 'Come, this is the entrance to my underground city.'

Mikurah responds 'You have a whole city? Do you live there all alone or are there others like you?'

Mongwin says 'Not anymore. I am here all alone. The others all went traveling. They never came back. Come, you will see it.' They all journey down below. It takes some time traveling down a large tunnel.

When they reach the end they can see brilliant luminescent lights. It is a city carved from stone. Luminescent plants and trees are all around. There are waters flowing down. It is fascinating to Mikurah.

Mongwin says 'Come, you all can stay here and live with me until the slavers go away. They will never find us here.'

Mikurah turns to Tulkas and says 'Can we please, father? Can we please stay?' Tulkas looks down at her 'We can stay.' He turns to the Rykyr and says 'This will be our new home.'

Mikurah and Tulkas find themselves a nice dwelling. It seems the inhabitants haven't been there in ages. There is a lot of dust everywhere. They take on the task of cleaning it up and making it home.

They spend a couple years down in the underground city. Mikurah is about the age of 6 in Midgard years. Tulkas sometimes leaves with one of the Rykyr and Mongwin and heads up to the surface.

One night when he returned, Mikurah asked him 'Why do you go to the surface so much father?' Tulkas responds 'For some time now, I have been looking to see if the slavers left this world. Although I am restricted to the plateau, I've been able to slowly repair the craft. The time will come when we will have to leave here Mikurah.'

Mikurah says 'But I like it here.' Tulkas replies 'I know, but there are other places out there we must go. I'm sorry if this saddens you, but one day you will understand.'

Mikurah smiles and hugs her father 'I understand. Where will we go first?' Tulkas responds 'I've thought of a few places. I will tell you about them while I tuck you into bed.'

She looks at her father and says 'It doesn't matter where it is, because wherever we go, we will be together.'

Tulkas smiles and tucks her into bed. He tells her of the many places he has been. Her eyes grow heavy and she falls asleep. She dreams of these wonderful places that she will see, her and her father...
