Past Incarnation Reading for Ruel

We focused in-depth on three of your past incarnations. Profanity warning... I do not want to disrespect the memories by changing what words were spoken. When there is profanity it is included.

*Carthage Incarnation*
You had a past incarnation in Carthage. During the time of Hannibal of Carthage and the sack of Rome. You are a warrior. You are not a regular foot soldier. You are a general.

You are speaking to Hannibal. The whole elephant thing... you oversaw this unit. You were the general of this unit of elephant riders.

Ark sees you speaking to Hannibal. Hannibal is praising you for the effectiveness of your unit. Hannibal is laughing and said "Wait until those Roman c*nts see what you have brought Mey'Cia." (May-Siah) You are toasting together.

Ark sees you following Hannibal out and you are surrounded by Carthaginians. Common folk and soldiers alike. They are cheering. You are standing to Hannibal's left a bit behind him. Almost in a V-formation. Hannibal is giving a speech.

Hannibal turns around and places one of his hands upon your shoulder and his other hand on the man standing next to you. He looks at you both and says "Rome awaits."

Ark sees a huge ship. There is a storm and he sees you rushing back and forth giving orders to people. You are a very strict general. You have a concern for your elephants. You are telling one of your men "If my elephants drown then you drown."

You said "For every elephant that drowns I will drown 10 men." The men react to that and take care of the elephants. You are a very strict and strong leader. Lots of discipline. Your warriors and soldiers respect and love you.

He sees the ship making a landing. It is in Gaul Spain. You and your men are marching. There is very little resistance as you are crushing your way through any opposition.

Then Ark sees a big battle. They are not little cohorts of small typical Roman city guards and such. It is an actual Roman army.

You are charging forward on your elephant. You are crushing through these Roman ranks. Your elephant is almost like a horse. It is not panicking. It is fighting along with you.

There is a very strong connection between you and your elephant. You are calling the elephant "Yevee." (Yay-Vee).

Your elephant is like a steed and a companion in war time. The bond is so strong that you trust this elephant more than your captains and men.

You gain a victory in this battle. He sees you afterwards back at the camp. You are all celebrating. Hannibal is giving a victory speech and really praising you. You raise your cup to Hannibal and acknowledge him.

You take a drink and then hand it off to somebody and you walk away. You are back with your elephant. Taking care of it and tending its wounds.

Now Ark sees a mountain pass and it is heavily snowing. He sees you stopped in place. You are tending to your elephants because they are really carrying a heavy load and they are not used to this kind of weather. A few of the elephants died and you are there with respect for them.

Ark he sees you crossing down and facing another Roman army. There is another big battle and you are surrounded. Your elephant is down. It is dying. You are fighting off against all these Romans. Javelins pierce you and you go out. This is a very honorable death.

*Catholic Bishop Incarnation*
This is the dark ages. You are in a monastery in Northern France. There is all kinds of talk and worry about the Pagan Horde that are invading places. They are referring to Vikings.

It is not only a monastery, it is also an orphanage because there are many children around. You are an older man at this point. Early 50s, which was old in that era of time.

You seem to be someone who was raised in the church. You were an orphan yourself. Your mother died from some kind of disease that came through.

You were taken by nuns and raised in a monastery. You chose to become a person of the cloth. You studied hard. You traveled to Rome and other places in the world.

You have a very big compassion for children. Especially for orphan children. Through your pilgrimages you would stop and help orphan children and sometimes bring them back to your own monastery and raise them.

There are children from very young up to teenage years. There is a young man around 16 or 17. You are coming in to where the young man's room is and the he stands up and quickly hides something behind his back.

You put your hand out like "Let me see..." and the young man pulls out an older sword that is not in very good shape. It is dented and rusty.

You look at it and grin and chuckle. You say "If you are going to go and fight the invaders then at least get yourself a decent sword. You must bring a decent sword to battle."

You are having a conversation back and forth. The young man is saying "It is God's will that we must protect Christian-folk from these Pagan invaders."

He tells you "You are a Man of God and God has made the call. Do you truly believe in God or are you a coward?" It is almost an argument but you remain clam.

You go over and sit down in a chair. You fold your hands and put them on the table. You start talking to this young man and say "Throughout my travels I have seen much bloodshed. Many of men and young men believe that God is calling them to war. I have cradled many young men even younger than you. I was there to give them their Last Rites and bring them some comfort."

You are saying to the young man "God's calling you will hear one day, but only you will hear it. Those calling to go to war, you are hearing their calling and not God's calling. One day my son God will speak to you and you will know what he wants you to do. As he did a long ago when he spoke to me."

The young man replied "When did God speak to you?"

You said "When I was in a small village and there was an orphan child who was near death from starvation. I knew then what my calling was. You know who that child was?... That child was you."

You continue on... "I cannot tell you what to do or what not to do. If it is the calling of your heart to go and fight these invaders then so be it and I wish you well. May God watch over you."

The young man leaves and dies. He didn't stand a chance. He was part of a rag-tag put together army of mostly peasants and farmers. They rushed into battle and they were slaughtered.

Ark sees you die a few years later, but you die peacefully. There are many around you who respect you and show love.

*World War One Incarnation*
Ark sees trench warfare. This is World War One. You are part of the British army. You are running through a trench with your rifle. You are taking your position and there are explosions going off. There is someone yelling out "Gas... gas... gas..." You are going for your gas mask.

Ark sees another bigger guy grab down to where your gas mask is and snatches it away from you. Then he shoves you down and says "You can die with the rest, O'Connell."

You rush up while the man is putting on your gas mask. There is a struggle and you take him to the ground. You take off your helmet.

Since this is WW1 the helmets are round and almost look like a hat. You knock the gas mask away and you are on top of this guy. You are smashing his head in with your helmet.

You were with this guy earlier. This feud had been going on before. Now it is flashing back. You are both in this machine gun pit area. There is a trench behind it. You are down there with your little brother.

You are both serving in this conflict. Your little brother is part of the wave that is going in to make a move forward. You are telling your brother "Just remember... Keep low, keep your eyes open, and stay alive."

The other man you have been feuding with is your superior. He is maybe a sergeant. He is looking at both of you and really rudely said "When you Irish Frogs are done f*cking each other we have a war to fight."

Then says to you "O'Connell get your ass up in the pit with me." You are both sitting in the machine gun pit.

You keep looking at your little brother who is getting ready to make the charge. You tell him "It is going to be alright. Later on we will be counting how many krouts you put down." There are orders being yelled out.

There is someone of higher rank walking up and down the trench line who is giving a motivational speech. He says "Make ready." He puts a whistle in his mouth and blows it. All the men come out of the trench and start charging forward.

There is a lot of smoke on the battlefield. You are in the pit with this other guy you feud with. You say to him "Sergeant Martin... Do you see anything? I cannot see through anything. I do not know if they will be right up on us."

He replies to you "Shut the f*ck up you Potato Eater and keep your eyes peeled."

There is fighting off in the distance. You can hear gun shots, whistles, machine gun fire. All of the sudden you hear mortars popping off. There is gas hitting the ground. Both you and Sergeant Martin are reaching for your gas masks.

He said "Keep your eyes peeled. Irish man get ready to feed me." You were the one feeding the ammunition into the machine gun. You hear a rustle and you start seeing German soldiers coming at you. The sergeant starts shooting the machine gun.

Then you hear a voice yelling out to you "Brian it's me! Brian I can't see! Help me!" Your brother is coming forward and he is blinded. He can hear German soldiers just beyond him coming towards him. You get ready to rush out of the pit towards your brother.

The sergeant grabs you and pulls you back. The sergeant says "He is a dead Irish Frog already." The sergeant gets ready to fire on him with the machine gun. You push him off of it. You get into a little bit of a struggle.

You must have hit him with some sort of canister on his mask because it cracks one of the lenses. The sergeant puts his foot on your chest and kicks you all the way back.

You fall with the wind knocked out of you. You are delirious because you got hit really hard. The only thing you hear is the machine gun firing. You are trying to get up but you can't. You black out.

Now it is flashing forward again... You are sitting over this sergeant after you bashed his head in. You grab the mask and put it on. You start to hear Germans coming. You reach over and grab a rifle.

You see a couple popping over the trench and you shoot the first one. You stumble back over a body and you fall. The other one gets ready to shoot you and takes a shot at you. It hits you in the left leg. You shoot back and kill the guy.

You are picking yourself up on your rifle. Ark sees you crawling out of the trench. You are crawling and keeping low. You stop and start listening.

You quickly put your whole face into the mud. These German soldiers come running by you moments later. You are laying there with your mask on with your face in the mud. You are remaining motionless.

Flashing forward to morning... You are lifting your head. There is still smoke. You get ready to pick yourself up, but there is very sharp pain in your leg.

You cannot even pick yourself up because your leg is so bad. You are trying to wrap it and tend to it. You are woozy because you lost a lot of blood.

You pull the mask off and you are trying to gather yourself. You are listening and making sure there are no other enemy soldiers around. You do not know what has happened. You start high crawling and dragging yourself. You cannot stand because your leg has given out.

You are crawling across the battle field over bodies. You keep crawling and then you hear something. It is familiar voices. You call out "Hey! Over here!" It is British soldiers who find you. They are calling for a medic. They get you on a Lister. They are carrying you back.

Ark sees you in a hospital. You have a stump for a left leg. You are sitting there and reading a book. The leg is harnessed up, but it is a stump a little above the knee. You do not seem to be in bad spirits. You are not too happy that you are missing a leg, but you are still in good spirits.

You look over at the door with a big smile on your face. You put the book down and open your arms. Two little girls run up saying "Daddy! Daddy!" They get close. You reach the best you can to hold them. It is a really beautiful moment.

Then a woman walks in and you smile at each other. This must be your wife. She comes up and kisses and embraces you. You are talking to your children now. Your wife is a bit distraught looking at your leg.

She is thinking "My husband lost his leg. It is going to be tough now." You take her hand and say "Don't worry. We will find a way to get through this."

You spend a lot of your life in a wheelchair or using crutches to get around. Ark sees you at a wedding. You are looking at your daughter who is older now and getting married. You take the crutch and put it on the side where your leg is missing.

There is another gentleman helping you up. You lock arms with your daughter and they start walking down the aisle. This is in a church. There is a man behind you kind of helping you along the way.

You bring her up to the groom. Your daughter turns to you and kisses you on the forehead and says "Thank you." Then they help you to your seat up front.

Now Ark sees you much older. You are sitting in a chair. There is a table next to the chair. There are pictures of your wife and family. Your wife has already passed on. There is a boy and girl sitting on the floor in front of you. You are reading to them out of a book.

Ark then sees your funeral. You have your uniform on. You are in a casket. The preacher is giving a sermon and said "He died peacefully in his sleep." There is an honor guard and a lot of family around. It seems more like a celebration of remembering you instead of a sad moment.

Some post comments...

Deepak: Awesome Reading. Just asking Why aren't their names mentioned in the 2nd and 3rd Parts?

Me: When a name comes through the reading then it is mentioned. Otherwise it won't be mentioned. The information flows through as it wants to be shown. That is why it can flash forward or backward.

JJ: Interesting that the incarnations were first a man at war and then a man of peace. Then lastly a man who experienced war but lived the rest of his life quietly.

Lily: I can’t stop reading the Carthage bit, that part of history was so interesting. I can’t help but think of how brave the soldiers and war elephants of Carthage were to fight against the freaking legions of the mighty Roman Republic during the Punic wars.

You deeply respected the elephants, even when they Perished in the harsh snow of the Alps and that moved me deeply because I bet a lot of generals and commanders wouldn’t give a damn. Even when Carthage was eventually destroyed during the third (final) Punic war, you and Carthage are immortal through the stories told today.
